Funky Chaise Longue

A Retail Therapy Couch, this contemporary work of art was designed to carry a message about modern over-consumption. With a novelty coin slide down the back rest, the seat is elegant, comfortable and thought provoking. This chaise longue was made as a commission for the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Wales.
It was an amazing opportunity to create something truly unique for one of their recycling displays. It took us about 6 weeks in total to complete, from collecting all the recycled wood from skips and scrap woodpiles to polishing and oiling. It was a labour of love which we would enjoy repeating. We can complete this order from scratch in about 4-5 weeks.
