Storytelling Theater

This theatre gives shelter and atmosphere in any surrounding; any storyteller knows that the character of their environment is as important as any character in the story itself! Having a beautiful space dedicated to storytelling is a great thing when you're growing up - before the first line is said, it's imbued with magic, memory and excitement, and at the end the echoes of the words will never quite leave.

With simple yet elegant archways, the wood-shingled dome and skylight cupola and the sustainable hemp-and-lime rendering give this building an organic and really quite comforting feel. The pictured version was specially designed for a school for children with special needs to be a place for telling stories; equally it would work as a shelter in playgrounds, parks or in any place where kids and weather are likely to meet.
